The upcoming movie, Ramona and Beezus, arrives to theaters on July 23, 2010. Ramona and Beezus is based on the book series by Beverly Cleary. This film features Selena Gomez, Joey King, Ginnifer Goodwin, Hutch Dano, Bridget Moynahan, and John Corbett. This movie, based on the classic children’s novels, is rated G and will be a cute flick for the whole family to enjoy.

Salt, coming to theaters on July 23, 2010 in the U.S. and August, 2010 in the U.K., is a new action thriller movie featuring Angelina Jolie. Salt also stars actors Liev Schreiber, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Gaius Charles, and Victor Slezak. Originally, it was expected that Tom Cruise was going to take the lead role in this film. But, due to other commitments, the script was reorganized to accomodate Angelina Jolie as star.

Inception, an upcoming film featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, comes to theaters on July 16, 2010. This sci-fi action thriller is set to be released in conventional theaters as well as IMAX. Starring alongside DiCaprio is  Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Tom Berenger, Dileep Rao and Michael Caine.

The Walt Disney Production, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, is making its way to theaters everywhere on July 14, 2010. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, a fantasy adventure film, stars Nicolas Cage, Jay Baruchel, Teresa Palmer, Toby Kebbell, Alfred Molina, and Monica Bellucci.

Despicable Me, arriving to theaters on July 9, 2010, is an animated 3D comedy that the whole family is bound to enjoy. Starring the voice of Steve Carell as the main character alongside Jason Segel, Miranda Cosgrove, Julie Andrews, Kristen Wiig, Will Arnett, Russell Brand, and Jemaine Clement. This Universal Studios production shows how the world’s greatest villian can handle three new orphan children who want him to be their dad.

Predators, distributed by 20th Century Fox, comes to theaters on July 9, 2010. Predators stars Danny Trejo, Walton Goggins, Adrien Brody, Alice Braga, Oleg Taktarov, and Mahershalalhashbaz Ali. This science-fiction, action, horror film is a sequel to Predator (1987) and Predator 2 (1990).

The Last Airbender, scheduled for release on July 1, 2010, is an action-adventure fantasy film. It is an adaptation of the animated television series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. M. Night Shyamalan is director and producer of the movie. The Last Airbender stars Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, Jackson Rathbone, and Dev Patel.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, coming to theaters on June 30, 2010, is a romantic-fantasy film based on the novel ‘Eclipse’ by Stephenie Meyer. This is the third movie in the The Twilight Saga series. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner reprise their roles in this film. This is the first movie in the series to be released in IMAX.
