The circling rumors of Spider-Man 4 and the returning cast are spiraling around as of right now. Something that we do know however is that Spider-Man 4 is a movie that will happen. Although It is still very unclear whether the likes of Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst will be returning.
From a news report from May of 2008, James Vanderbilt, announced as the screenwriter for upcoming Spider-Man movies, is writing both the scripts for Spider-Man 4 and Spider-Man 5. Both of these movies may be shot at the same time if this is the case. More news came out during this current month, June of 2008, that Sony has pushed the movies’ releases back to May of 2011.
