The highest praised comic book movie of all time might have a third installment on the way. In any case, we can at least say this might happen. The brilliance of The Dark Knight has allowed speculation for a third round of Batman.
In an interview with MTV News, screenwriter David Goyer thought of the possibility of a third Batman movie:
I think that’s the scariest thing – to think, could we come up with a third movie that was as good as the first two? Can we top ourselves? Doing it a third time would be a big proposition.
Goyer also stated that he knows what the theme for the next movie would already be. For those of you who want to see another film, this is good news because there have atleast been thoughts of producing another movie. On the opposite end of things, there are always the people who are going to say that these movies should stop and be left alone.
